BS EN 124 Standard:
The 1000×1000, 7.5-ton cast iron manhole cover meets the load requirement standards for each installation location. The product meets the standards and will not break or crack when the design load is reached.

Load classification according to the standard:

A15: Load capacity 1.5 tons – Used in areas exclusively for pedestrians or bicycles.
B125: Load capacity 12.5 tons – Used on sidewalks, pedestrian areas, motorcycles, and car parking areas.
C250: Load capacity 25 tons – Used on road shoulders, no more than 0.5m from the sidewalk and 0.2m from the pedestrian area.
D400: Load capacity 40 tons – Used on the road surface, parking areas for all types of road vehicles.
