Working Principle of the Water Barrier Valve

The function of the flood gate valve is to regulate water levels. It can raise or lower the water level passing through the gate by adjusting the height of the sliding plate. Water flowing through the sliding barrier will be regulated according to desired levels. It prevents overflow and maintains the water level at a certain point.

The use of a single or double shaft depends on the valve width and the sliding frame. When the frame width is 1500 mm or less, a single shaft flood gate valve is sufficient. On the other hand, for frame widths larger than 1500 mm, a double shaft flood gate valve should be used.
